Dream Big Studios Recording Membership Policy & SOP
1. Membership Term
Recording memberships operate on a month-to-month basis with no minimum commitment. Membership begins on your enrollment date and renews automatically each month until canceled.
Why: Month-to-month terms let you start and stop as your projects require, while automatic renewal allows Dream Big Studios to reserve studio availability, staffing, and resources for active members.
2. Payment Terms
- Membership fees are charged automatically on the same date each month.
- A valid debit or credit card must remain on file.
- All payments are non-refundable.
- Failed payments must be resolved within 48 hours to maintain membership benefits.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Members may cancel at any time.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to studio@dreambigctx.com.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle. Membership benefits remain active through that date.
- Payments already made are non-refundable. No partial refunds are issued for unused time or unused hours.
4. Mixing & Mastering
- Songs submitted during a billing month are scheduled for mixing and mastering the following month.
- Work begins once the following month’s membership payment has cleared.
- If a membership is canceled, songs submitted during the final paid month will still be mixed and mastered on the same schedule, at no additional charge.
- No new songs may be submitted after the cancellation date.
5. Unused Hours
- Monthly recording hours do not roll over to the next month.
- Unused hours expire at the end of each billing cycle.
- Membership hours have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
6. Booking Policy
- Members may schedule sessions up to 30 days in advance.
- All bookings are subject to studio availability.
- Sessions must be booked through the approved scheduling system.
7. Rescheduling & No-Shows
- Members must provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule.
- Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be deducted from the member’s monthly hours.
- No-shows result in forfeiture of the entire scheduled session.
Example: If a member books a 4-hour session and fails to show, all 4 hours are deducted.
8. Membership Benefits Protection
To prevent abuse of membership benefits:
- Promotional bonuses — free merchandise, discounted mixing and mastering, or free photos and video — become available only after 90 days of continuous active membership.
- Members who cancel before completing 90 days of continuous membership forfeit all promotional bonuses.
- Any free or discounted services already redeemed will be billed at standard retail pricing if membership is canceled before 90 days of continuous membership.
9. Freeze Policy
Members may freeze their membership for up to 30 days, once per calendar year, due to emergency, military deployment, or medical reasons. Written approval from management is required. Frozen months do not count toward the 90-day promotional threshold.
Membership Agreement Statement
By enrolling in a Dream Big Studios membership, you acknowledge and agree to all membership terms above, including month-to-month automatic billing, the cancellation process, the non-refundable payment policy, and the mixing and mastering schedule.
